Maria Katrina Irene Pe Halili is considered one of the most desirable celebrities in the country today. The two-time FHM’s Sexiest Woman was born on January 4, 1986 and spent most of her childhood in El Nido, Palawan. Katrina was discovered through the GMA-7’s talent search show Starstruck. Her career as a cover girl followed soon enough, and she was on the cover of FHM Philippines for three times.  She was also chosen as the magazine’s calendar girl twice.

The sexy star’s acting career was formally launched through her roles in two of GMA-7’s fantasy-themed series, Majika and Darna. Her taray good looks made her the perfect choice for kontravida roles. She was cast as a villain in both shows opposite Angel Locsin. In 2007, her home studio cast her again on another major role – that of Angelika Santibanez on the remake of the hit Mexican telenovela Marimar.

At this point of her career, Katrina took advantage of her stardom to branch out to the fashion world. She came out with Playmates, her own line of swimsuits and lingerie. She also became an endorser for the Belo Medical Group.

Her shows after Marimar include Magdusa Ka, a daytime soap series opposite Dennis Trillo; Obra, a primetime drama anthology and Gagambino, also with Dennis Trillo.

Her movies include Super Noypi (2006), Shake, Rattle and Roll 9 (2007), Sundo (2008) and One Night Only (2008). She is set to star in the remake of the classic Vilma Santos film, Miss X in 2009.

Despite her status as one of the country’s hottest sex symbols, Katrina pretty much remained single for a couple of years now. Most guys in showbiz are reportedly intimidated of Katrina’s luscious good looks and taray vibe. She was repeatedly linked to Dennis Trillo, her co-star in several of her shows, but nothing concrete materialized from the rumors.

The country was shocked when rumors came out that Katrina Halili had an affair with the boyfriend of Dr. Vicky Belo, a popular cosmetic surgeon and owner of the Belo Medical Group, a company that Katrina endorses. It was alleged in several showbiz columns that there exists a Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho sex video and that Vicky Belo found it, causing the couple’s break up. The relationship was admitted on television by the guy thus forcing Katrina to confirm it, as well. Katrina, though denies that any sex video ever existed.
