Mark Herras

Dubbed as the “The Bad Boy of the Dance Floor,” Mark Herras is an irresistible combination of boyish looks, cool-as-ice charm and hot dance moves. He is now one of the top talents of GMA-7, but life has not always been easy for the young actor. A native of Santa Rosa, Laguna, he came from a well-off family. He decided to try his luck in showbiz when his family’s business went bankrupt. His desire to help his family pushed Mark to join the reality-based talent show StarStruck, and eventually went on to win the show with Jennylyn Mercado, who became his loveteam partner and real-life girlfriend. They broke up, and soon Mark was linked to an endless list of beautiful actresses.

His ferocious moves on the dance floor earned him the chance to create his own dance compilation record. He released a 14-track dance album that sold like hotcakes among his legions of fans. His awards include:

His films include Lovestruck (2005), Blue Moon (2005), Eternity (2006), Super Noypi (2006) Tiyanaks (2007) Bahay Kubo (2007) and I.T.A.L.Y (2008).

Mark also became a favorite cover model for magazines, and was included among Cosmopolitan Philippines list of 100 Most Eligible Bachelors in the country.

Lovelife

Mark had a relationship with former StarStruck contestant Jennylyn Mercado. He is now reportedly dating another actress.
