In answer to criticisms against the high sugar content of their smoothies, Jamba Juice launched their “Enlightened Smoothies” line, which contains fewer calories and less sugar. It was later renamed “Jamba Light.” The smoothies contain whey protein and non-fat milk.

Starting February 2008, Jamba Juice will be offering a new line of breakfast smoothies and baked goods. The company recently partnered with Nestle for a line of ready-to-drink beverages.
