This electric mini buses promises to provide a relief to the air and noise pollution problems of Metro Manila. And with the gas prices also promising to continue for the next several months, the e-jeepneys is also seen as the life saver of the drivers.

At this point, there are tens of thousands of diesel fed jeepneys in the country. Computing for its daily gas consumption, it will be easy to arrive at a million liters per day.

If the ejeepney experiment becomes successful, the Philippine demand for petroleum will drastically be lessened. Let’s hope for its overwhelming triumph!
