Jamba prides itself on using real fruit and processed fruit juices for its smoothies. They also sell other drinks such as freshly-squeezed carrot juice and orange juice. Jamba Juice History
The brand was founded in April 1990 by Kirk Perron, a graduate from California Polytechnic University along with three other co-founders. It was first incorporated as Juice Club, Inc. The company quickly became a leader in the vegetable juice and quick-serve market all over the country. In 2006, it was acquired by Services Acquisition Corp. International for USD236 million with the company name changed to Jamba Inc.
Jamba Juice is perfect for those who want a healthier alternative for their sweet tooth. Aside from their classic smoothies and shakes, Jamba also offer blends that contain dietary supplements. Customer can choose a supplement such as Soy Protein, Calcium and Vitamin which will be mixed into their smoothies. Starting February 2008, Jamba Juice will be offering a new line of breakfast smoothies and baked goods. The company recently partnered with Nestle for a line of ready-to-drink beverages.
