Isabel Oli

Isabel Oli is considered as one of the loveliest faces in local showbiz. Born Olivia Daytia on October 20, 1981 from a Chinese father and a Spanish-Filipina mother, she was the youngest among seven siblings. She studied in Cebu and graduated from the University of San Jose – Recoletos with an IT degree. Isabel’s career in entertainment was launched with the help of a Max’s Restaurant commercial, where she appeared with actor Piolo Pascual. The exposure landed her a contract with GMA Network in 2005.

It was her role in the primetime series Sugo, which stars Richard Gutierrez that propelled her to stardom. After Sugo, Isabel nabbed more TV roles in other primetime shows including I Luv NY and Atlantika. She also starred in the 2006 film Moments of Love, where she played Ava, Dingdong Dantes’ younger sister.

Isabel’s pretty face made her a much sought-after commercial model. She got numerous endorsement deals for top brands such as Sunsilk, Globe Telecom and PH Care. She appeared in the cover of the top fashion magazines and was featured in lots of billboards and television commercials.

She is currently starring in the fantasy series Carlo J. Caparas’ Gagambino, which stars Dennis Trillo and Katrina Halili, among many others.

Personal Life

Isabel has relationships with actors Marco Alcaraz and Paolo Contis. Her breakup with Paolo after almost three years of relationship was heightened by the actor’s recent admission that he is dating EB Babe Lian Paz. According to Isabel, Paolo gave her an engagement ring, which she returned because she sensed that Paolo has issues with their relationship. Paolo never gave the ring back to Isabel, and the couple broke up. Paolo is now reportedly engaged to Lian.
